Call to Order

Chair Sidna Madden called the meeting to order at 9:02 am

Introductions and Welcome:

Public Comments: The Oklahoma City Mayor’s Committee on Disability Concerns welcomes citizens comments at the beginning of each meeting. Comments shall be limited to three (3) minutes and citizens must sign in at least five (5) minutes before the meeting is scheduled to begin. Citizens that are not committee members are not permitted to participate in regular meeting discussion. By signing up for comments, you acknowledge the commenting procedures of the committee.

Emergency Management – Frank Barnes

  • COVID Report
    • No Omicron varient yet.
    • Omicron spreads more easily in South Africa and less severe
    • Vaccine will help with keeping you out the hospital
    • Need 4 to 6 weeks to really see how a varient will be
  • Working on 5 year Plan
    • Getting ready to survey the public
    • Working with Dana at DRS and Laci at the Library for the Blind for accessible formating.

City ADA Coordinator – Keith Wilkinson

  • The ADA Class at OCCC for city contractors still very well attended
