  • Unfortunately, 2020 caused us to put a lot of projects on hold until things get back to normal, if we ever get there. On the flip side, that’s given us a lot of time to catch up on a few things. The MCDC Committee is almost finished with the MCDC Committee Appointment assignment. This was a project to basically capture everyone’s interest in seeing what committee they would like to serve on behalf of the MCDC committee. We are also keeping up with and monitoring our social media content. We continue to put up member notices and disability related information on the Facebook page. We’re also answering questions that may come in through our Facebook page.

Strategic Planning — Larry Hopper

  • I have nothing to report regarding strategic planning due to the pandemic’s impact.

Ways and Means — Marilyn Dillon

  • GIVE SMART OKC: This is under the Oklahoma City Community Foundation and allows non-profits to build a profile and receive online donations through the platform.

We need to email givesmartokc@occf.org for help or we ca simply go to their website and begin setting up our profile.  I’ve attached a list of the information we will need to set up a profile.

There is an orientation video here:  https://www.occf.org/givesmartokc/

This is just a redirect clearing house.  There are no fees to use this service.  Once our profile is set up, when an individual chooses to donate to MCDC, they are redirected to our website to make the donation so we would have to have a mechanism set up there to accept the donations.

Reconvene into the regular meeting – Sidna Madden
