Members Present: Sidna Madden – Chair, Dana Tallon – Secretary, Vera Cheek; Heather Hancock-Blackburn, Jackie Haverly, Jacob Hill, Larry Hopper, Zubayr Rahman, Liz Scheffe, and Curtis Singleton,

Member Excused: Scott Ellis – Treasurer, Herb Bailey, Franklin Barnes, Marilyn Dillon, Sharron Schaefer, Lori Wathen,

Members Unexcused: Dr. Henry Asin, Brittany David – Parliamentarian, Adam Lane – Vice-Chair, Nedra Ruth, James Timberlake, Sandra Webster, Keith Wilkinson, Emma Woodford, and Ken Wyatt.

Call to Order

Chair Sidna Madden call the meeting to order at 10:03 am

Public Comments: The Oklahoma City Mayor’s Committee on Disability Concerns welcomes citizens comments at the beginning of each meeting. Comments shall be limited to three (3) minutes and citizens must sign-in at least five (5) minutes before the meeting is scheduled to begin. Citizens that are not committee members are not permitted to participate in regular meeting discussion. By signing up for comments, you acknowledge the commenting procedures of the committee.

Action Items

Approval of March, 2020 Minutes – Dana Tallon

  • Larry Hopper moved to approve the minutes and Curtis Singleton seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously

Reports:  Executive Committee Reports

Chair – Sidna Madden

  • Chair Sidna Madden reported that Executive Committee meet to talk about the ADA Special Session, Awards Luncheon and Expo and decided to cancel the event.

Vice Chair – Adam Lane

  • No Report

Secretary – Dana Tallon

  • We will be paying for our domain (www.okc-mcdc.org) for the website for 5 years at a cost of $89.95.

Treasurer – Scott Ellis

  • No report

Heather Blackburn announced that the Down Syndrome Festival & 5k Walk
