Call to Order

Chair Sidna Madden call the meeting to order at  9:03 am

Introductions and Welcome: Guest James Helms from Dale Roger Training Center

Public Comments: The Oklahoma City Mayor’s Committee on Disability Concerns welcomes citizens comments at the beginning of each meeting. Comments shall be limited to three (3) minutes and citizens must sign-in at least five (5) minutes before the meeting is scheduled to begin. Citizens that are not committee members are not permitted to participate in regular meeting discussion. By signing up for comments, you acknowledge the commenting procedures of the committee.

  • Adam Lane moved to approve the minutes and Keith Wilkinson seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously

Reports from Emergency Management and City ADA Coordinator

Emergency Management – Frank Barnes

  •  The city moved its DME from a state warehouse to a city owned property.
  • They are distributing PPE to city schools
  • CoVid – no vaccine for virus; no ICU beds right now but the medical response unit is working to find beds, data shows the masks help keep down the cases.

  • Larry Hopper attended COPTA mentioned the Embark currier service where individuals can order things from stores and Embark will pick up and deliver.
  • Lori Wathem asked where are we on the assignments. Sidna said she would check with Zubayr
