Public Comments: The Oklahoma City Mayor’s Committee on Disability Concerns welcomes citizens comments at the beginning of each meeting. Comments shall be limited to three (3) minutes and citizens must sign in at least five (5) minutes before the meeting is scheduled to begin. Citizens that are not committee members are not permitted to participate in regular meeting discussion. By signing up for comments, you acknowledge the commenting procedures of the committee.

- Adwards scheduled for October to be passed out at the City Council meeting.
- She’s working with Richard Sternadori on a new training, trying to figure out when and where to host it.
- Marilyn Dillion commented on a training she had at conference that were exceptional and will email committed with his contact informtion. Rob Brookes with Accessible Avenue was impressive.
- Dana Tallon commented on Able Tech’s Rob Carr has resigned from there and they have appointed a new Information and Communication Technology Accessibility (ICT) Coordinator Lyssa Prince

- Marilyn talked to us about the various Embarks services for people with disabilities.

City ADA Coordinator – Keith Wilkinson
- Has a new plan for OKC staff when needing to communication with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing. They will utilize 711 Oklahoma Relay. They will discard the old TDD lines.
- He went out an looked at the soccer field at Jefferson (Fields of the Future) and determined that was an Oklahoma City Public School issue and that he has no jurisdiction over that. He is trying to contact OKCPS about the inaccessibility of the field.

Announcements from Members
- Lori Wathen – Sooner Success is hosting Bright Law, Special Education law and advocacy training or conference. There are two location Sept. 14 in OKC, at St. Lukes in Edmond. $15 to register. It’s 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. They are also doing a Tulsa location on Sept. 16, 8:30 to 4:30 pm.
- November 10 will be the virtual Care Giver Conference.
- September 25th Downs Syndrome 5 K festival – looking for volunters. Myriad Gardens.
